ADEQ Director Owens Announces Student Environmental Pledge and Other Activities for Earth Day 2008
Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Director Steve Owens announced today that hundreds of elementary and junior high school students are expected to sign an "Earth Day Pledge" to "recycle, conserve energy and save water to protect Arizona's resources" leading up to Earth Day, April 22.
