ADEQ Announces Free Electronics Waste Recycling Event for Saturday, May 8 at Basha's Parking Lot in Camp Verde
PHOENIX (April 27, 2010) - Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that a free electronics waste recycling event for Camp Verde and the Yavapai-Apache Nation will be held Saturday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Basha's supermarket in Camp Verde, 650 W. Finnie Flats Road.

ADEQ issues new streamlined environmental permit for minimal discharges to water
PHOENIX (April 27, 2010) - The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has approved a general permit for the next five years for the release of small amounts of relatively pollutant-free water, known as De Minimis discharges, to surface water under the Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) program.

ADEQ Announces Award of $2.15 Million to Shorepower Technologies for Anti-Idling Truck Electrification Project
PHOENIX: Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that $2.15 million in contracts have been awarded to Shorepower Technologies to install 150 parking spaces with electric hookups and cooling and heating units for long-haul diesel trucks along southern Arizona highways.
