The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality is issuing a High Pollution Advisory (HPA) for Friday, Nov. 15 in the Phoenix metropolitan area for Particulate Matter-10
The HPA is being issued because a powerful cold front from the northwest is expected to bring a lengthy period of strong and gusty winds to the area along with a very high potential for significant amounts of blowing dust.

Sierra Vista Plays Host to Environmental Resources Road Show Nov. 14 at City Hall Council Chambers
PHOENIX (Nov. 5, 2013) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that they along with partners Keep Arizona Beautiful (KAZB) and the ADOT Adopt a Highway Programs will conduct an "Environmental Resources Road Show" in Sierra Vista on Thursday, Nov. 14 to assist city and Cochise County residents with a range of resources to address potential environmental problems.
