ADEQ to play host to Hazardous Waste Workshop for Nogales, Surrounding Area on Thursday, Dec. 11
PHOENIX (Nov. 19, 2014) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that a free hazardous waste workshop for residents of Nogales and the surrounding area will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 8 a.m. until noon in Council Chambers of Nogales City Hall, 777 N. Grand Ave.

Show Low Second Municipality in State to Complete Work on ADEQ’s Small Communities Compliance Assistance Plan
PHOENIX (Nov. 14, 2014) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that the City of Show Low in Navajo County has become the second municipality in the state to complete a Small Communities Environmental Protection Plan (SCEPP) to help communities and special water and wastewater districts comply with state and federal environmental regulations.

ADEQ Awards $50,800 Grant to Lazy T&P Cattle Co. to Reduce Polluted Runoff into San Pedro River
PHOENIX (Nov. 5, 2014) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that a $50,800 grant has been awarded to the Lazy T & P Cattle Company for rangeland improvement on the Three Brother Ranch near St. David to reduce runoff to the San Pedro River.
