ADEQ Staff to Participate in Host of “Green” Activities Next Month Surrounding Earth Day 2015 on April 22

PHOENIX (March 26, 2015) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality staff will participate in a host of “green” activities during April leading up to Earth Day on the 22nd including water quality monitoring events for students, school environmental presentations, free electronic waste recycling events and providing manpower for environmental fair booths throughout the state.

ADEQ Announces Free Electronics Waste Recycling Event Saturday, April 4 at Casa Grande Parks & Rec Parking Lot
PHOENIX (March 25, 2015) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that a free regional electronics waste recycling event will be held Saturday, April 4 from 7:30 a.m. until noon in the parking lot of the Casa Grande Parks and Recreation Building, 404 E. Florence Blvd.

ADEQ Announces Electronics Waste Recycling Event will be held Saturday, April 4 at Town of Payson Multi-Event Center
PHOENIX (March 24, 2015) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that the Sixth Annual Payson Free Electronics Waste Recycling Event will be held Saturday morning, April 4 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Town of Payson Multi-Event Center, 1400 S. Beeline Highway.

Casa Grande Plays Host to Environmental Resources Road Show Wednesday, March 25 at City Hall
PHOENIX (March 10, 2015) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today that they and partners ADOT Adopt a Highway Programs and Keep Arizona Beautiful (KAZB) will conduct an “Environmental Resources Road Show” in Casa Grande on Wednesday, March 25 to assist Pinal County residents with a range of resources to address potential environmental problems.

ADEQ Officials Announce Selection of First Six Members of  Arizona Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program
PHOENIX (March 4, 2015) – Arizona Department of Environmental Quality officials announced today the first six members of the Arizona Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program (VESP), which was adopted by the state Legislature and signed into law to provide recognition and incentives for organizations to go above and beyond environmental law requirements.
