Meadow Valley Contractors Inc. to Pay $80,000 for Air Quality Violations during 2007 Construction in Buckeye
PHOENIX: The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and Arizona Attorney General's Office announced today that Meadow Valley Contractors, Inc., of Phoenix will pay $80,000 under a consent judgment with ADEQ for air quality violations at the company's asphalt and gravel facility that was temporarily located at the intersection of Miller Road and Sunrise Road in Buckeye in late 2007 through early 2008.

Tatum Blvd. in Phoenix, 2955 W. Ray Road in Chandler, 7111 E. Mayo Blvd. and 8688 E. Raintree Drive in Scottsdale and 5120 S. Rural Road in Tempe.

Western Arizona landfills to Pay Penalty Totaling $58,000 to Resolve Solid Waste Violations in Yuma, La Paz counties
PHOENIX: The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and Arizona Attorney General's Office announced today that two western Arizona landfills, one owned by Allied Waste Industries Inc. and the other owned by a subsidiary of Allied Waste, have agreed to pay a $58,000 penalty under a consent judgment for solid waste violations.
