SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Sample Volunteer Registration Form

Volunteer Form:  Volunteers are at the heart of many programs offered around the world.  Utilize this form to gather contact information from potential volunteers.  Adjust it to meet your needs or your organization may have their own version already.

Sample Letter To Sponsor

Sponsor Letter: Event hosts may not have all the necessary supplies or resources needed to run a successful e-waste recycling event.  Use the Sponsor Letter to approach and start discussions with local businesses and organizations that can help you by providing those important resources.

Sample Press Release

Press Release:  This form outlines the basic wording for a press release.  Fill in the necessary areas, add any quotes or pertinent information and then send it to ADEQ and any local media to gain better attendance at your e-waste recycling event.

Marketing Poster

Poster/Flyer:  Between the press release, mail insert and the Poster/Flyer you should have a lot of advertising out there for your e-waste recycling event.  The Poster/Flyer will allow you post signs around your community to catch the eyes of possible attendees for your event.  A Word version is provided or if you have digital editing software then use the PDF version to enter dates, time, location, contact number(s) and logos.  Contact ADEQ if you have any questions regarding the Poster/Flyer.

Marketing Mail Insert

Mail Insert:  It never hurts to get more advertising out there for your e-waste recycling event.  The Mail Insert will allow you to stuff utility bills with the event information and target a large portion of the population who will potentially visit your event.  A Word version is provided or if you have digital editing software then use the PDF version to enter dates, time, location, contact number(s) and logos.  Contact ADEQ if you have any questions regarding the Mail Insert.

After Action Review Process

After Action Review: The After Action Review will allow you to go over the e-waste recycling event and figure out what was successful and what needs some work for the following year.  Don’t skip this step as it may be the most important one to make next year even more successful.

Communication Plan

Communication Plan:  You’ve now filled out a press release, completed your Mail Insert and Poster/Flyer and now it is time to look at more avenues for advertising your event.  Use the Communication Plan to figure out other creative ways to spread the word about the e-waste recycling event.
